Day 1

Arrive in Arusha & Safari Briefing

Arusha, Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your family will be greeted by your dedicated driver-guide. You will be transferred in a private 4x4 vehicle to your Arusha lodge, where you can unwind, splash in the pool, and shake off any jetlag before your safari adventure begins.

In the late afternoon, your guide will conduct a relaxed safari briefing. You will receive customized wildlife checklist maps for the children, review safety protocols, and prepare your gear for the journey into the bush the following morning.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park (The Elephant Kingdom)

After an early breakfast, head south toward Tarangire National Park, home to the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. As you enter the park gates, the children will immediately spot ancient baobab trees and sprawling herds of elephants roaming the Tarangire River banks.

Spend the morning on a game drive tracking lions, giraffes, zebras, and impalas. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at a shaded viewpoint overlooking the river before checking into your lodge for an afternoon dip in the swimming pool.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park & Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its dense mahogany forest, baboon troops, and flamingos along the soda lake shores. Children will love searching for the park's elusive tree-climbing lions perched high in acacia branches.

In the afternoon, head to Mto wa Mbu village for a child-friendly cultural tour. Hop on open-air tuk-tuks to explore local banana farms, sample fresh tropical fruits, and meet local craftsmen in a safe, welcoming environment.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Floor Big Five Expedition

Ascend into the cool highlands and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor, one of the world's natural wonders. The crater's high density of wildlife guarantees rapid sightings of wildebeests, zebras, hyenas, lions, and rare black rhinos.

Enjoy a full morning game drive followed by a private hot picnic lunch served near the Ngoitoktok hippo pool. Children can watch hippos wallow in the water while eating lunch, before ascending the crater walls in the late afternoon.

Day 5

Cultural Maasai Encounter & Return to Arusha

Karatu & Arusha

Begin your final day with a visit to a neighboring Maasai village. The children will learn traditional Maasai jumping dances, see how pastoralists build eco-friendly homes, and learn basic tracking skills from resident Maasai warriors.

After the cultural experience, enjoy a leisurely lunch in Karatu before taking a scenic drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for your onward travel.
