Day 1

Arrive in Arusha & Karatu Highlands

Karatu Highlands

Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where your private driver-guide will welcome your family with cold beverages. Transfer through the lush coffee plantations of Karatu, checking into your luxury highland lodge.

Spend the afternoon strolling through garden pathways, swimming in the rim-flow pool, or enjoying a family tea service overlooking the forested hillsides.

Day 2

Tarangire Big Game & Baobab Valley

Tarangire National Park

Depart for Tarangire National Park for a full day of private wildlife tracking. Your guide will focus on animal behavior, helping kids spot lion prides resting under baobabs and massive elephant matriarchs guiding calves through riverbeds.

Stop at a shaded picnic campsite equipped with clean facilities for a hot cooked lunch, before continuing game viewing until late afternoon.

Day 3

Journey to the Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge

Central Serengeti

Drive up the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the Serengeti. Stop en route at Olduvai Gorge, the "Cradle of Mankind," where an interactive museum tour educates children on human prehistoric fossils discovered in Tanzania.

Descend onto the endless savannah plains of the Serengeti, spotting giraffes, gazelles, and ostriches as you approach your luxury tented camp.

Day 4

Full Day Central Serengeti Big Cat Tracking

Seronera, Serengeti

Spend a dedicated day exploring the Seronera River valley, known for the highest density of leopards, cheetahs, and lions in Africa. Your private guide will tailor the morning drive around active predator hunts.

Return to camp during the hot midday hours for a relaxed lunch and pool swim, followed by an late afternoon drive to track nocturnal animals at dusk.

Day 5

Great Migration Herds & Bush Naturalist Lessons

Serengeti

Dedicate your second day in the Serengeti to tracking seasonal Great Migration herds of wildebeests and zebras. Children will watch thousands of animals grazing together in massive mega-herds.

In the afternoon, resident camp naturalists will lead young travelers on a mini-bush walk around camp borders, teaching them how to identify animal tracks, dung, and birds.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater Floor Sunrise Descent

Ngorongoro Crater

Drive from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Descend early into the caldera floor, witnessing golden hour light over the lake where thousands of pink flamingos feed.

Track black rhinos, giant bull elephants, and lion prides before enjoying a private gourmet picnic lunch surrounded by wild landscapes.

Day 7

Bush Flight to Arusha & Departure

Serengeti to Arusha

After a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the nearest airstrip for a scenic 1-hour bush flight back to Arusha. Flying over the Great Rift Valley provides kids with an aerial view of Tanzania.

Upon landing in Arusha, enjoy day-room access and lunch before your evening transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for international departure.
